Antiseptic facial toner - Prevent and heal the infection

A facial toner, of course, tones the skin by cleaning impurities that have accumulated. An antiseptic facial toner does more than that: it penetrates deep into the skin's layers and clears up the infections. It is especially effective for oily and acne prone skin. Acne are a reflection of an infection in the skin. When pores get clogged up, there is no way for excess oil to come out. The oil is restricted to the pore and redness and puss start forming.

Note: if you can't fine rosemary verbenon oil you can also make this tone with just tea tree oil - use about 45 drops of tea tree oil with the 16oz or witch hazel.

The main ingredient here is THE tea tree oil. The reason I emphasize the is because tea tree oil is possibly the most powerful natural antiseptic you can find. It clears the infections perfectly and almost immediately soothes and calms the skin down. Which hazel is known as a great astringent, it restricts the pores and gives the skin a more youthful appearance.

Aspirin Toner

Make your own facial toner using one half water to one half vinegar and a few aspirins. The acid in the vinegar forces old skin cells to flake off much as the store brand does. An aspirin can help with acne. Many acne products use salicylic acid, which is basically aspirin.

To make a rinse water for your face, pour 1/8 cup of vinegar in your rinse water, rinse your face and let it air dry. This will seal moisture in your skin.

I am a believer in the power of good old Aspirin. The reason is the same Yumoke mentions, salicylic acid. I have used it many times to prepare aspirin face mask. It not only helps clear out the infection, it prevents inflammation, redness and swelling of the skin.

Organic vinegar, apple cider vinegar to be specific, has wide use in preparation of vinegar skin care recipes. The reason it is used so often is that it reduces oiliness of the face, removes excess oil and cleanses the skin well.

Note: Use the toner before applying any kind of facial cream or moisturizer.
