A homemade bath salt recipe that you can prepare at home is a wonderful addition to the overall skin care known to relieve muscle ache, balance the ph of the skin, and generally soothe the skin.

How to make bath salt recipe?

Adding essential oils to the bath salt recipe gives not only fragrance but also healing effects to your bath.

Be careful when adding essential oils. If you put too much, the salt will desolve easily. Make sure you follow the recipes.

Keep the prepared salt in a closed jar. Keep the jar in a dark, dry place.

Basic bath salt

Ingredients

3 cups of Epsom salt (sea salt is good too)
9 drops of essential oil of your choice
Glass jar with a lid
Paper towels

Preparation

In a mixing bowl, stir salt with essential oil. Add the essential oils gradually, one drop at a time
Spread the mix on a paper towel to dry overnight and then keep in a closed jar.

Use one or two tablespoons of mixure at a time.

Epsom bath salt

Ingredients

3 cups of Epsom salt
1 tablespoon of powdered milk
4 drops of an essential oil of your choice
2 drops of food coloring
1 teaspoon of any light oil
1 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil (optional)
Glass jar wih a lid
Paper towel

Preparation

Mix salt and powdered milk in a bowl
Add the light oil
Add essential oil one drop at a time
Add the food coloring and Vitamin E oil
Spread the mix on a clean paper towel and leave overnight. The next day, store it in a glass jar.

Fizzy bath salt

Ingredients

3 tablespoons of sea salt
1 tablespoon of citric acid
3 tablespoons of baking soda
8 drops of essential oil of your choice
Glass jar
Paper towels

Preparation

In a mixing bowl, stir salt with baking soda
Add the citric acid
Add the essential oils gradually, one drop at a time
Spread the mix on a paper towel to dry overnight and then keep in a closed jar.
