I was very excited when those pore strip remover pads became available. They didn't work on the edge of my nose, which was one of my main problem areas. They also left my face reddened and irritated for a while. I asked friends and they had the same problems. The pore strips turned out to be an expensive, painful disappointment. So now I use this cheap, easy alternative. It may seem strange, but it is great. Plus, it doesn't make any garbage.
I apply a thin layer of nontoxic white school glue to my nose. I can cover the "corners" quite easily. I let the glue dry. It takes about 10 minutes. Be sure the glue is completely dry, then peel it off. You should notice fewer blackheads and softer skin.
NOTE: Yikes! If you have a surprise visitor, gently remove the glue with a wet washcloth.
