Body butter

How can I make a body butter that is not too greasy feeling? Every recipe I have tried makes me feel like running and taking a shower to get the grease off. Yet, when I purchase some online from my favorite etailer, there is none of that problem.

One advice I read from those who make body butters is to use fragrance free lotion base instead of oil. This will create a creamy consistency. Also, you could try melting the butter and whipping it as it cools down. Try adding the lotion base then.
