Cleopatra face mask - facial mask recipe suited for a queen

Cleopatra Face Mask

The ancient Egyptian queen Cleopatra used this mask to maintain her beauty:

Ingredients

  • Honey 1 teaspoonful
  • Milk 1 tablespoonful
  • Egg White of 1 egg
  • If you use milk powder, calculate the water percentage.

  • Preparation

Mix all the ingredients and apply it to your face.
Leave it for 20 minutes (you can change the period of time to suit your requirements).
Wash your face using lukewarm water.

    Thank you Waheed!

Every skin recipe that I found involving Cleopatra's name has as one of the main ingredients milk. Cleopatra's milk bath is a perfect example of this.

Milk is extremely beneficial to the skin. Its acids, lactic acid particularly, help dissolve the dead skin cells and help the skin absorb the nourishment. Add to that vitamins A and E also found in milk, and you have an ingredient that provides multiple effects.

The proteins contained in milk, smooth the skin, and enzymes help its rejuvenation. Milk containing a high percent of milk fat is a good way to go in helping dry skin regain its moisture.

Note! As a rule, if you are allergic to milk or lactose intolerant, do not use it.
