Corns on side of toes

I have a corn on the side of my baby toe. I have had it for years; my wife picks it and files it but as soon as we stop it builds back up again. I went to the doctor and he said the only thing he could do was remove my toe; I am sure he was joking but who knows. The corn is really big and it does get painful when there is to much build up of skin. I was just wondering if you could help me find something I could try to get rid of this ugly thing.

Your doctor has a slightly morbid sense of humor, doesn't he?

Keeping up with filing will surely reduce the corn ; in addition to this, give some of the corn removal home remedies posted here a try.
