Homemade exfoliate - Cleanse and purify your facial skin

A homemade exfoliate is used to not only cleanse the skin by extracting impurities from pores but also to remove dead skin cells.

Scrubbing with a homemade exfoliate exposes the rejuvenated skin underneath and when it contains a powerful enzyme, it also removes some of the toxins stored in the skin. In skin care recipes, these enzymes are found in many different ingredients, a pineapple being one of them.

Beautiful Skin - Pineapple Ezymatic Facial

Exfoliating skin care products are still a popular treatments to help you remove dead skin andbring a refreshing glow to your face. A lot of cosmetic companies market their version of afacial scrub as "the latest technology in skin care". Do we really need the someone in a labcoat working for a cosmetic company to tell us how to exfoliate our skin? A while back I wrote an article entitled "Sugar Sweet Beauty" which contained easy andeconomical recipes using sugar to effectively exfoliate your skin. I cited that a lot of theproducts on the market used sugar as the main ingredient in their products. Sugar producesglycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid, which is included in many skincare product lines.

There is also another component that skin care companies are raving about for deepcleansing and exfoliating the skin. It's enzymes. Enzymes are mostly derived from "livefoods" such as fruits and vegetables. Not only are they able to break down fats, proteins andcarbohydrates, they are also known to help remove toxins from the body. Sounds like the makingof a very effective skin care treatment.

Again, you do not have to invest in some of the pricey facial masks that contains enzymes. Youcan make your own inexpensively. It starts in the produce section of your favorite grocer. Oneparticular fruit I like to use is pineapple. Pineapple contains a powerful enzyme calledbromelain. Bromelain has been shown to be anti-inflammatory as well as a powerful cleanser. Ithas been used to help relieve pain, swelling, and tenderness due to injuries.

Here are a couple of facial recipes to help you benefit from bromelain derived from pineapples:

After using these facial masks, you will notice how clean and soft your face will feel. Thesefacial mask can be applied to your face 2-3 time a week. Using the power of bromelain inpineapple does not have to complicated or scientific. You can quickly whip up a powerfullyeffective exfoliating mask in a few minutes to treat your skin to a wonderful mask.
