Honey skin care recipes

I have professed my love for honey skin care when I talked about honey benefits.

I am still convinced that honey is one of the best natural ingredients you can use in skin care.

It is an awesome cleanser, it stops infections and inflammations from developing, and cleans up existing ones.

THE honey mask

You won't believe the simplicity of this mask:

Ingredients

3 tablespoons of honey
3 tablespoons of milk.

Preparation

Simply mix the two ingredients, slather over the face, leave on for 10-15 minutes and wash off with warm water. That's it!

Honey glycerin mask

Ingredients

1 teaspoon of glycerin (alternatively, use 3 teaspoons of Vodka but do not add water)
1 teaspoon of honey
2 teaspoons of water.
1 teaspoon of wheat flour.

Preparation

Combine all the ingredients and apply it in a thin layer on the face. Leave it on for 20 to 25 minutes.This mask is to be used 2 times a week. It is recommended for dry and normal skin type.

Oily skin honey parsley mask

Ingredients

4 teaspoon of honey
¼ of a cup of chopped parsley.Combine the two and apply on the face. This recipe yields one application.

Anti aging honey mask

Ingredients

1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon of honey
1 teaspoon of glycerin or vegetable oil.

Combine all the ingredients and apply on the face. It should stay on the face for at least 30 minutes, the longer the better. Rinse off with warm water.

Relaxing honey mask

Ingredients

1 tablespoon of honey
2 tablespoons of sour cream
Oatmeal or wheat

Preparation

Combine honey and sour cream. Add oatmeal or wheat until the mass thickens. Apply it on the face and neck and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

Moisturizing body lotion

Ingredients

1 teaspoon of honey
1/4 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon of ordinary vegetable oil (even better, substitute this with olive oil.

Preparation

Simply mix all the ingredients and apply on any part of the body where the skin might feel dry. Rub it in, let it rest for 10 minutes and then rinse with water.
