An Indian herbal hair recipe for regrowth is very simple, cheap and effective.

Indian women have really wonderful hair – dense, dark, silky, smooth, and long. While most of us fret over ways to have long and lustrous hair, women in India are literally coached on these secret but effective methods since their childhood. They know how to maintain and keep the hair long without buying expensive cosmetic products.

Let me give you some proven ideas –

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is used as a base for growing hair. You can buy coconut oil anywhere. What you do is warm the oil slightly and massage it gently on your hair. Not only your hair smells well but coconut oil ensures you have long and lustrous hair. Of course, you need to do it daily. But are you prone to colds? If you are then probably the oil is not for you because coconut oil, when kept on hair for longer time, will make you catch cold.

Now after you have applied the oil, keep it for few hours and then wash it off with mild shampoo. If you want, you can leave it overnight and then wash hair in the morning.

Eggs

Hair needs protein for re-growth and eggs are a wholesome source for protein. In India, what women do is use raw eggs as hair nourishment. The egg white is only used. Depending on the length of the hair, you take any number of eggs and whip the egg whites till it is smooth. Now use a brush or any thing to help you apply the egg, and spread evenly the whipped egg on the hair.

Don’t worry about the smell! It goes away after some time. Keep the eggs on for almost an hour and wash it with scented but mild shampoo. You may need to shampoo twice if the smell persists. Eggs make your hair shine and help it grow also.

Yogurt and Henna Leaves

Soak henna powder in water to make fine paste. You can add little bit of lemon juice for better effect and color. Make sure you use iron or copper utensil because the mixture reacts with the copper or iron and makes the paste more enriched. You need to make this paste and leave overnight. In the morning, add few teaspoons of yogurt in the mixture and apply evenly to your hair. Henna colors your hair naturally and yogurt contains the necessary bacterial and other hair nutrition to help re-grow hair faster. You can use this mixture once or twice a week.

The Indian herbal hair recipes for re-growth undoubtedly work wonders. Once common thread binding the above given recipes is that they prevent hair fall also – one of the major problem for women.

Avoid using any chemical or harmful cosmetics while you are using the herbal remedies because they negate the real purpose of the natural remedies.
