Oily scalp shampoo

Shampoo for Oily Scalp

1/4 c. unscendted mild, natural shampoo

1/4 c. strong sage tea, cooled and strained

15 drops cedarwood essential oil

15 drops lavender essential oil.

Combine all ingredients and shake well before using.

Hi Claudia,

While I would like to say yes as I love vanilla essential oil, I have to say no. There is a reason cedarwood oil is in this recipe; cedarwood essential oil helps prevent and treat saborrhea which can be seen as greasy scales on the scalp. The oil is also an antiseptic which works great since saborrhea is a skin inflammation.
