Oily skin face mask

by Neelam
(Birmingham)

Oily skin face mask - My mum has oily skin and this is what she uses.

Take two spoonful of gram flour and make a paste with curd or yogurt. Yogurt has bleaching agents that clears the complexion. Add a pinch of turmeric powder to it. Turmeric powder helps in reducing the marks caused by acne and pimples and also helps in the removal of facial hair very slowly. This pack can also be used as a scrubber. When half dried Scrub it off from the skin in adverse direction. It will also remove the dead skin from the face.

Honey and Nutmeg for oily skin

by Denisa
(Oklahoma)

You will need:
-2 tbs. raw honey (Cheatwood's is good)
-1 tsp. powdered nutmeg
-1 tsp. olive oil

Mix all of the ingredients together and smooth it over your face (always avoid eye and lip area) and let it set for 10 minutes. Gently wipe it off with a wash clothe and warm water.

I have really oily skin and when I woke up in the morning (used this the night before) my skin was soft but not oily. I just put on moisturizer and I was out! I've been using it for a while and prefer smoothing it on and jumping in the shower and rinsing off in there. I stick with witch hazel as a toner because I like the refreshing feeling. If you like facial scrubs, I would suggest the sea salt and water.
