When the nice folks from OrganicaPure, an organic skin care line asked me if I would be interested in reviewing a few of their products, I jumped at the opportunity. The choice was tough! They have so many appealing products in their line that I had a hard time deciding what to choose.
This company prides itself in using only organic, best quality ingredients harvested in Mexico. These products are also produced there. You can read more about them here. I must say that it took 4 days for these products to arrive at my house and the correspondence with OrganicaPure was flawless; this makes them awesome in my eyes.
I used the scrub two times over the last couple of days. I normally don't use scrubs that often but this scrub won me over. The most noticeable thing is the heavenly scent of cocoa with a subtle hint of honey. You can definitely smell a bit of grapefruit that adds a slight citrusy feel to it. The scent lingered on my skin for hours afterwards. The consistency is creamy with small specs of grain interspersed throughout the texture.
A couple of squirts were sufficient to cover the whole body. It spreads easily, feels smooth and moist yet you can feel the grains gently scrubbing the whole time. Their product description mentions the following ingredients:
Aqua (Water), Cethearet 12, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Theobroma Cacao L. (Cocoa), Fragrance, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Citric Acid, Rosmarinus Officianalis (Rosemary), Propolis Extract, Mel (Honey), Izotiazoline
Cocoa is a wonderful moisturizer and in this scrub, it combines with honey which adds anti-bacterial and antioxidant properties. The product as a whole has an anti-aging effect.
This scrub is packaged in 8.5 fl z (250 ml) plastic bottles and costs $26. The company currently ships to Canada, USA and Mexico.
The only negative is that I initially had a bit of trouble getting the bottles to work properly but once I did, it was all good.
In conclusion, Cocoa & Honey Delicate Body Scrub is probably one of THE best body scrubs that I have used.
Although this is a sponsored review, I DO NOT review products that I don't think would benefit the visitors of this site. I have refused plenty of offers to review products that make a claim to be organic or natural. Those I do review, get thumbs up from me. I hope you enjoyed this review and give this product a try, you will love it!
