Hi,
I have six questions to ask and hope I get answers to help me .Plus would you like to give your own opinion about all the answers you will provide me.Thank you
Here are the questions:
1 .Red bumps all over legs
Hi everyone. I have these red bumps all over my legs. They kinda look like tiny zits. It's not razor burn, I've had these for years and I'm not sure why or how I can get rid of them.
Give me some advice to help me feel more comfortable in my shorts this summer. Any creams I can buy or something?
Believe it or not this is common for many women, including myself, especially during colder winter months when your legs are covered up most of the time. First, make an inexpensive scrub by mixing equal parts of baking soda and sugar - keep this mixture in a jar in the shower. Also, get a pair of loofa bath gloves. Then a couple of times a week, pour the scrub mixture into the gloves, add a little water or cleanser cream and make a paste and rub this mixture – using the gloves - all over your legs. It feels wonderful and after a few weeks, you’ll see less and less bumps. While you’re at it, give your arms, elbows, and chest a good scrub too.
2. Small Reddish-Brown Circles
My sister has three small reddish-brown circles on her wrist all clumped together. They used to be elevated with some kind of liquid in them but they are now flat. They also used to be surrounded by reddish skin. She has had them for almost one month now with barely any progression. Once they sunk down little change could be seen. Any idea what this might be? The doctor called it her "mystery illness of the day."
If they were filled with fluid, are you sure that it wasn’t some sort of blister? I would suggest that your sister sees a dermatologist, instead of a regular physician. This days, it’s very important to be careful and any unusual skin spots and have them checked out by a professional.
3 .rash on hands
I have been having some rashes looking like pimple on my fingers, palm.i dont know what it is never had something like this before.been getting worse day by day any ideas why ?
It could be a skin allergy. This is common if you handle harsh cleansers – like oven cleaners and such. Try using gloves when cleaning the house - and if after a few weeks they are not gone - consider eliminating any new products that you may have started to use. You may have an allergy to a new soap or hand cream.
4. Worried about stretchmark
I've had this one stretch mark close to my groin area on my thigh for awhile now. Recently, about 1-2 months ago I've noticed that in the corner of the stretch mark, close to the pubic region, i have a thin black line going sideways inside of the mark.
It's only about 1-1.5 cm in lenght and thin like hair. The area is raised though, which kind of looks like a hair that is got caught underneath the skin. Has anyone else experienced anything like this before?
P.s. Theres no discomfort , pain, or redness.
It’s hard to say what this might be without seeing it, but the dark line you see could be a vein as the skin in that area is pretty thin.
5. Sunburn
So i'm without health insurance and just looking for some sugesstions..
The sunburn does'nt appear too bad to me it's on my front lower calves ,looks really funny. The burn seems to be almost gone after only two days(skin is still red but does'nt burn much). The part that bothers me the most is swelling my lower legs have swelled in the burn areas the right one more so then the left.I am trying to keep my legs elevated when I do not have to be on them. When I do walk on them once the blood pools into them the skin hurts and I limp or plop back down.Any sigesstions, other then elevation,on how to reduce this swelling? About how long until this swelling will subside? Thanks.
Swelling in the leg area could be an indication of a serious health issue – like heart problems. Please see a doctor right away.
6. Red patch on nose?
Okay i've had this skin problem on my nose since probably the start of this year. Basically it looks like i have a sunburnt nose except it never fully goes away. There's like this red strip along the bridge and then the lower part of the nose is all red as well. It's not even symmetrical as the redness spills over one side of the bridge more than the other side. It seems to stand out worse in warm weather or when i'm physically active or stayed up all night.. less pronounced in cooler calmer conditions except that its still there. I know that some ppl seem to get red noses a lot, although i've never been one of them, yet my red nose looks like patchy sunburn.
I've recently been getting into skin moisturizer and cleansing creams for men.. hoping that might help get rid of it. is this a good idea? So far it hasnt made any difference, heck sometimes worse particularly with the cleanser as it feels like its burning when rubbed onto the nose.. Normally it doesnt feel burnt or hurt to touch or anything.
What suggestions would anyone have? Like do-it-yourself remedies.. or should i get it checked out by a doctor? I'm not that concerned about it apart from the appearance.
EDIT: I'm not sure how exactly it appeared in this first place.. whether it actually was sunburn originally or just randomly appeared. Although i'm normally pretty good with sunscreen and dont get burnt much anyway.
It sounds like it could be Rosacea. Follow this link for more
