Red chin

by La

My skin tone is a bit red around my chin. What is a good natural way to calm/treat this? It isn't overly dry or sensitive, just more red than other areas of my face.

Hello La,

Thanks for your email. Considered trying a natural aspirin face mask that has great anti-inflammatory potential and can lighten the skin. Try a small area first and see how well the skin reacts before doing the whole chin/face area.

Aspirin Mask

Crush up 2-3 NON-coated aspirins and mix with water and (if your skin is really dry a little honey). Make a paste and apply to your skin, especially the areas with dark spots. Leave on for 20-30 min and rinse off. Again, follow with moisturizer and sun screen if you’re going outside. Note: Make sure aspirin is not coated. If it is, it will read “Coated “right on the front label.

Hope this helps,
