I have a lot of ringworm they all came like days apart, I have eczema, but should I be concerned. I have washed my linens, and cleaned my room and car from top to bottom. Is there something I should be concerned about. This is not the first time I have gotten one but never so many at one time. I feel so dirty. What should I do?
Hi Jeneva,
Please don't feel "dirty" for having ringworm, though they are one of the most irritating skin conditions. That's because they are just so stubborn and keep coming back. There is no way to build up immunity to ringworm, unfortunately. They are persistent and highly infectious. You have taken the right steps by washing the linens etc. but as I said, there is really nothing you can do about it once you get it. One way to avoid getting so many is to avoid scratching as that spreads the infection. Check out some ringworm home remedies posted on this website.
One more thing: I researched a bit and found this article that talks about some forms of eczema that can resemble ringworm. I would recommend you visit a dermatologist to clarify if it is ringworm and from there to determine the appropriate treatment; treatments are different for ringworm (which is a fungus) from the ones for eczema.
I hope this helps,
