I use a lot of sunscreens to become fair, but it never helped me. I read a tip that we can put honey and curd on our face to become fair.

I have hair on my face, so i am afraid if i put honey on my face it will turn the hairs on my face to white color? Please can you tell me one tip to become fair or shall i use this tip?

Hello Angeline,

It's very unlikely that natural products like honey and such will lighten your facial hair. You need a bleach to lighten hair.

Try this natural recipe:

One recipe comes to mind that might help with discoloration.

Home facial (Facial Refresher)

Ingredients

1 cup old fashioned oats
½ cup coarse salt (we use Dead Sea salt if possible)
¼ cup raw sugar (can use ordinary cane sugar)
a few drops almond oil (optional)
1000 mg natural vitamin C (crush the tablets to powder).

Preparation

Process the oats in the food processor until partially broken down-you do not want a powder, just smaller pieces.
Add the salt, sugar, crushed vitamin C and process just to blend.
Sprinkle the almond extract over the meal and process again briefly to mix.
Store the scrub in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.

To use: take a handful of the mixture, about 2 tablespoons, and add enough water to make a paste.
You will want to wash your face before starting in the usual way and leave it wet.
Apply the paste to your face but avoid the delicate areas very close to your eyes and then use small circular motions to scrub away and exfoliate the skin.
When the entire area has been massaged, let this rest on the skin for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Unless you have extremely oily skin, you will want to apply a moisturizer next.

This recipe contains oats that will act as an abrasive; they will remove dead skin cells. Then, Vitamin C can help deal with discoloration; it also helps with production of collagen which will boost your skin's glow and make it appear rejuvenated.

Hope this information has helped,
