Lavender bath oil recipe

I couldn't resist posting a recipe for lavender bath oil recipe simply because it is so simple to make and because lavender is one of my favorites. If you're looking for a relaxing recipe that will leave your skin silky smooth and your mind rested, then this is the recipe you would want to prepare.

Lavender is also used for preparation of skin care recipes that treat inflammations or are aimed at healing the skin. This is because this oil has soothing and healing properties that remove the irritation and soothe the skin, such when used to prepare insect bites healing balm.

Now, when it comes to making this recipe, I personally like adding other oils, vanilla essential oil is my favorite.

Although it has a very stong scent, this oil blends well with any other oil. Vanilla and lavender complement each other wonderfully, but, if you want to stick to the original recipe, that is fine too.

To prepare this recipe, you will need:

1/2 cup of Castor oil
1 teaspoon of lavender essential oil.

Blend the two oils in a jar and add to the bath. That's it. You can keep the oil in a jar with a tight lid and make sure you keep it in a dry, dark place.

As I said, I like to add vanilla to this mix so what I do is I add 1/2 teaspoon of lavender and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.
