If you have dark hair, sadly Lemon/lemon Juice will not help your hair so much..in fact it can turn your hair a tad bit orange! So here's how to lighten your hair for Dark hair and blondes! :)
1/4 cup Honey
1/3 cup conditioner
Mix the two then apply to hair. Put a plastic grocery bag over hair. You can:
A.) wear a warm hat over baggy and sit in sun for 8 hours..or..
B.) Sit under a hooded dryer for an hour and a half.
Brunettes/Dark Hair 2:
a moderate amount of Conditioner
2-6 tbsp cinnamon (depending on how thick/long hair is)
Make sure hair is moderately wet..and brushed! Run conditioner through hair, so cinnamon will stick. Rub cinnamon all over hair, don't forget underneath too! Put hair in a bun and put saran wrap or a plastic bag(best if you want to sleep with it) on head. If you want your hair just a tad lighter- 6 hours. 1 shade darker=8 hours. For best results, sleep with it in. You might feel some tingling sensation. When your ready to take it out, shampoo your hair to get cinnamon out. When your hair is dry, it will smell Amazing!
2 bags Lemon Tea
Fill up a cup 3/4 full with hot water. Put 1 tea bag in cup and wait 3-4 minutes. After it cools, put the tea on your hair. Put on a shower cap or grocery bag. Wait 25-30 minutes. Make another tea filled cup. Rinse hair in the shower, then put another tea filled cup in your hair before you shampoo. Rinse. Shampoo and condition.
Pour lemon juice all over your hair before going out in the sun. Apply Sunscreen as well!! Stay out in sun for 30 minutes, and drink lots of water! Take a little break. Then go back outside for 30-40 minutes and apply More sunscreen. Do this for a couple days and your hair will be noticeably lighter!
